Gentle Yoga & Meditation
Time and space are the greatest healer. First ½ of class consists of long holds and deep stretches. Second ½ of class is meditation in the form of “yoga nidra” or yogic sleep. Usually done on the back--this is a guided practice that utilizes mindfulness based principals to deeply relax the body, breath and mind while leading the practitioner into an “in-between place” of waking and sleeping. This class reduces fatigue so you can re-enter your day feeling fresh, clear and more grounded. A good antidote for stress, high blood pressure and overstimulation.
