Getting Grounded: Making Peace with Paradox
Paradox can be defined as a situation that seems impossible or difficult to understand because it contains opposite facts or characteristics.
We live with this tension daily, and sometimes it creates confusion. So how do we work with it? How do we make sense of the chaos?
In this afternoon's workshop we will:
Explore ways to work with this tension
Utilize movement and writing to help us get aligned with our core values
Set intentions for the new year.
Jennifer will guide us through gentle movement to help us open up and stay present, and Christopher will offer us moments of stillness and simple writing exercises to help us answer the questions:
What really matters now?
How do I nourish my dreams and desires while embracing paradox?
As a group, we'll draw upon our collective energy, being witnesses for one another, and holding the space together. Those who choose the option of reading aloud will receive helpful, supportive feedback.
Our workshop in September 2023 helped everyone to dig deep, practice self-compassion, discover important truths, and take steps toward healing old wounds. We're ready to do that again, and we'd love to have you join us.
